I've seen some of the things people have cited as marks of character growth in the norse games, but honestly I don't think all of them are. I mean, yeah sure Kratos definitely was a lot more willing to be open with other people and accept help from others, but the willingness to show mercy to someone he's fighting, not wanting to kill someone unless they threaten somebody he cares about, shrugging off personal insults and and threats to himself, showing compassion to someone going through something awful, those are all pretty standard parts of his personality

He's actually consistently a pretty calm person, given the circumstances. It's also not that surprising to see him readily accept Thrud and Angrboda as Atreus' friends, since he's got a bit of a soft spot for kids

Update again - GP was good and she was really nice (felt taken very seriously etc). No bad things seem to be wrong right now, but have to call immediately if I get a fever or even more pain. Have an echo of my upper stomach planned for Friday; if pain goes away before then I can just cancel it. Exhausted now from the pain so gonna flop on couch. Have to eat light foods so will prolly just heat up some prefab soup.

#for now i just have to sit through the pain #took pcm and something OTC to calm my stomach #the latter should help if its a stomach ulcer #urine was checked and clear #she also measured blood infection levels which were very low which is good #just going flat on the couch now w my hot water bottle #personal #medical tw #doctor tw

I have a serious hoarding disorder and I'm not 🚫 talking about oh haha ... my room is sooo messy I am talking about I have multiple uncompleted MacDonald's monopoly maps that I can't bear to part with a container of cinnamon hearts that have been sitting on a shelf for two years I have fucking, yard sale advertisements that I took off bulletin boards two years ago that I can't bear to get rid of. I have about 30 or 40 of them.

#leafs. empty deoderant sticks. empty perfume and shampoo bottles. extension cords. old broken easter decorations. old sharpies. pill bottles #hospital bracelets. so many hospital bracelets. broken water glasses. expired bath and body works products from like 2019.#I can't bear to part with any of these things and i know it sounds silly but i am emotionally attached to all of it.#getting rid of any of it makes me feel like i am losing a small part of myself and i know it sounds foolish but the last time i cleaned my #room i had to take ativan to calm down.

Thing is if you have like high alcohol resistance the fun thing isn't like. Drinking per se. But drinking ungodly amount of alcohol and still being lucid while watching others do the same and lose their mind/normal skills
